7 of Pentacles - Write about a health habit that you implemented in the past and how that worked out for you. What did you learn from this experience?
You know, I just thought I would point out that health has been a GLARING issue for me with the cards lately. I suppose I should probably listen to them…!
The best I ever felt was when I did yoga and stopped eating dairy and sugar. Sugar makes me pretty nutty - it’s overstimulating and super agitating to the brain. Dairy always makes my skin break out in acne and causes the dark circles under my eyes.
When I stopped consuming both of these, within days I noticed (after getting over the sugar withdrawal) that I had more energy and felt content instead of agitated or restless.
Combining that with yoga, I was on top of the world. My productivity at work had never been higher, and I felt really at peace with things, even when life-stuff was actually pretty fucked up.
